About the Role

  • Lead the regional people strategy across the Middle East, supporting workforce engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organisational growth in a highly international environment.
  • Based in Dubai, this role partners closely with regional and global leadership and carries responsibility for HR strategy, compliance, and people practices across the GCC. A strong understanding of local employment frameworks and expatriate workforce models is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement people strategies aligned with global and regional business goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to support engagement, performance, and cultural alignment
  • Ensure compliance with UAE and broader GCC labour regulations and employment practices
  • Oversee expatriate employment frameworks, including contracts, mobility, and localisation considerations
  • Attract, recruit, and onboard talent to support regional growth
  • Lead learning, development, and succession planning initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations and workforce risk

Must Haves

  • Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles within international or regional organisations
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE and GCC employment law and HR practices
  • Proven experience managing expatriate-heavy workforces
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments
  • Fluency in English & Italian

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in multinational or matrix organisations
  • Exposure to health-tech, technology, or innovation-led sectors
  • Arabic language capability
