About the Role
- Lead the regional people strategy across the Middle East, supporting workforce engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organisational growth in a highly international environment.
- Based in Dubai, this role partners closely with regional and global leadership and carries responsibility for HR strategy, compliance, and people practices across the GCC. A strong understanding of local employment frameworks and expatriate workforce models is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement people strategies aligned with global and regional business goals
- Partner with senior leadership to support engagement, performance, and cultural alignment
- Ensure compliance with UAE and broader GCC labour regulations and employment practices
- Oversee expatriate employment frameworks, including contracts, mobility, and localisation considerations
- Attract, recruit, and onboard talent to support regional growth
- Lead learning, development, and succession planning initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations and workforce risk
Must Haves
- Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles within international or regional organisations
- Strong working knowledge of UAE and GCC employment law and HR practices
- Proven experience managing expatriate-heavy workforces
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments
- Fluency in English & Italian
Nice to Haves
- Experience in multinational or matrix organisations
- Exposure to health-tech, technology, or innovation-led sectors
- Arabic language capability
