## Search context

The business needed a Dubai-based HR leader to apply global people priorities across an international GCC workforce. The brief required a practical understanding of regional growth, local employment rules and expatriate employment.

## The role

Responsibilities covered regional HR strategy, working with local and global leaders, employee engagement, performance, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee relations and workforce risk. The brief also included expatriate employment arrangements, mobility, contracts and localisation requirements.

We looked for senior HR leaders with hands-on UAE and GCC employment experience, a record of working with multinational leadership teams and responsibility for workforces with a large expatriate population. Fluency in English and Italian was required.
